Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you can relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, where you will have a welcome dinner in the evening, along with a brief orientation about the upcoming trek.
After enjoying breakfast, you will start on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a journey that takes about six hours. As you travel, you will be treated to picturesque views of terraced fields, lush hills, and rivers. Upon arriving in Pokhara, you will check in at your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore the lakeside area, perhaps taking a stroll along Phewa Lake or visiting local shops and cafés.
On this day, you will have an early morning drive to Nayapool, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. After reaching Nayapool, you will begin your trek to Tikhedhunga, a charming village located at an altitude of 1,600 meters. The trek follows the Modi Khola river and takes about four to five hours, leading you through beautiful landscapes and small villages. Upon arrival in Tikhedhunga, you will settle into a guesthouse for the night.
The trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani, located at 2,860 meters, begins after breakfast. This ascent takes about four to five hours and involves a steady climb through picturesque rhododendron forests. As you trek, you will enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna range. Once you arrive in Ghorepani, you can take an optional hike to Poon Hill for breathtaking panoramic views, particularly stunning at sunrise. You will spend the night in a guesthouse.
From Ghorepani, you will trek to Swanta, a less frequented village that sits at an altitude of 2,270 meters. This leg of the trek typically takes five to six hours and allows you to experience a serene environment away from the crowds. The trail leads you through terraced fields and rural landscapes, where you will get a glimpse of local life. Upon reaching Swanta, you will stay in a local guesthouse.
You will continue your journey by trekking from Swanta to Dhan Kharka (Chistibang), located at 3,020 meters. This trek takes approximately five to six hours and involves a gradual ascent through lush forests. Dhan Kharka is known for its stunning views of the surrounding peaks, and you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. You will overnight in a guesthouse.
Today, you will trek to Khopra Danda, which is situated at 3,620 meters and offers some of the best views in the region. This trek will take around four to five hours. The trail is surrounded by spectacular scenery, showcasing the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Once you reach Khopra Danda, you can relax and take in the magnificent views, especially at sunset. You will spend the night in a community lodge.
This day is dedicated to an exciting excursion to Khayer Lake, a sacred site located at an altitude of 4,660 meters. This hike is challenging but rewarding, taking approximately six to seven hours round trip. You will be treated to stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and the serene beauty of the lake itself. After a fulfilling day, you will return to Khopra Danda for the night.
You will leave Khopra Danda and trek to Bayeli, located at 4,520 meters, a journey that takes about five to six hours. The trail continues to provide breathtaking views of the Annapurna massif and unique flora and fauna along the way. Bayeli is known for its tranquil environment, making it an ideal spot to reflect on your trekking experience. You will stay overnight in a guesthouse.
On this day, you will trek from Bayeli to Tadapani, which takes approximately six to seven hours. The descent through forests filled with rhododendron blooms is refreshing and invigorating. Upon reaching Tadapani, another excellent viewpoint, you can enjoy the spectacular mountain vistas. You will spend the night in a guesthouse.
You will continue your trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk, which is a short trek of about three to four hours. Ghandruk is a traditional Gurung village known for its rich culture and stunning views of the Annapurna range. After settling into your accommodation, you will have the chance to explore the village and visit local handicraft shops.
After visit in Ghandruk and finish lunch, you will then drive back to Pokhara. The evening will be free for you to relax and explore more of Pokhara’s beautiful lakeside or enjoy some local cuisine.
On your final day, you will either take a short flight or drive back to Kathmandu, depending on your preference. After checking in at your hotel in Kathmandu, you will have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in the city. In the evening, you will enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of your trekking adventure.
