From the moment I first emailed Traverse Nepal, I knew I was in good hands. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to answer my endless questions were outstanding. But nothing could have prepared me for the incredible experience they delivered. The entire trek was flawlessly organized. The pre-trek briefing in Kathmandu was comprehensive, and our head guide, Kumar, was not just a guide but a true mentor and friend. His knowledge of the mountains, the Sherpa culture, and the local flora and fauna was profound. He set a perfect, steady pace, emphasizing the importance of acclimatization, which was key to our entire group reaching Base Camp safely and without any altitude issues. The porters were absolute heroes—strong, cheerful, and always ensuring our bags were waiting for us at the teahouses. The team at Traverse Nepal treats their staff with immense respect (which is so important), and it shows in their positive attitude. The trek itself is as breathtaking as you imagine. Standing at Kala Patthar as the sun illuminated Everest was a spiritual moment I will never forget. The lodges were carefully chosen for their comfort and amazing hospitality, providing a warm refuge after long days of hiking. What sets Traverse Nepal apart is their genuine care for their clients. When I had a minor headache one afternoon, Kumar was immediately there with advice and checking on me constantly. They don't just sell a package; they curate an experience and ensure you are safe, informed, and happy every step of the way. If you are dreaming of Everest Base Camp, look no further. This wasn't just a vacation; it was one of the most significant achievements of my life, and I have Traverse Nepal to thank for making it possible. I will 100% be booking my Annapurna Circuit trek with them in the future.
Chandragiri Cable Car with Travers Nepal gave us the ultimate Himalayan experience without the sweat! The 10-minute ride up was thrilling, revealing ever-expanding views of Kathmandu Valley. At the top, we were greeted with a jaw-dropping 180-degree panorama of snow-capped peaks from Langtang to Everest region - all while sipping hot chai at the viewpoint cafe! Our Travers guide timed our visit perfectly for the clearest mountain views and shared fascinating insights about the sacred Chandragiri Hill. Perfect for families, seniors, or anyone wanting spectacular mountain views with zero effort. We returned to the city by lunchtime with postcard-worthy photos and unforgettable memories!
Did the Jamacho Hike with Travers Nepal and it was the ideal half-day adventure! Waking up early to watch the sunrise over Kathmandu Valley with snow-capped Himalayan peaks in the distance was magical. Our guide knew all the best viewpoints and shared fascinating stories about the historic monastery at the top. The forest trail was peaceful with monkeys playing in the trees. What I loved most - back in Kathmandu by breakfast time with memories to last all day! Travers Nepal made it so easy and enjoyable.
